Second Spring Retreat
A 3-Day Retreat + 8-Week Integration
Reclaiming Your Body, Boundaries & Belonging During Perimenopause & Menopause
Here is What to Expect:
The Format:
A 3-Day In-Person Immersive Retreat: March 4-7, 2026 • Austin, Texas
You’ll step out of your daily life and into a safe, trauma-informed environment designed for deep understanding of your body, emotional processing, nervous system regulation, perimenopause education and community connection.
This includes:Group healing work, psychodrama and parts work
Group healing work: A guided, trauma-informed process where the support and witnessing of others help your nervous system feel safer, seen, and more connected.
Psychodrama: A guided process where you “act out” real-life scenarios, like setting a boundary or asking for help, so your body can practice and integrate changes that talking alone can’t achieve.
Parts work: A method that helps you connect with the different “parts” of yourself (like the inner child) so they can be understood, supported, and integrated.
Fascia + lymph movement sessions
Breathwork and somatic practices
Perimenopause/Menopause education
Workshops, sound baths, vibroacoustic bed, and restorative experiences
Your own private room + all meals
Small group: Limited to 10 participants, intentionally curated to support safety, connection, and group flow.
8-Week Integration Program: 60 minute weekly group integration zoom calls
Integration is what turns insight into truly understanding your body with realistic life changes and the community support to sustain them.
Weekly call dates:
Wednesdays, 4-5 PM CST/ 5pm EST/ 2PM PST
March 11th, 18th, 25th
April 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
During these 8 weeks you’ll:
Continue somatic + nervous system practices

Note: these calls will not be recorded to ensure the privacy of the group
The Why:
We wanted to bridge the gap between psychotherapy and physical therapy to truly understand the body and heal from trauma.
We created this retreat because it’s the experience we both wanted but couldn’t find — a truly trauma-informed, deeply supportive space to heal alongside like-minded women. A place to be seen without judgment, to understand the body’s changes in perimenopause and menopause, and to integrate lasting change beyond a single weekend. We wanted a deeply curated group where real transformation could happen.
The Promise:
1. You will experience a truly trauma-informed space that supports deep, meaningful group and individual healing.
2. You will understand your body in a way you didn’t before: the signals, patterns, and needs that have been asking for your attention.
3. You will leave with practical nervous system regulation tools to help you navigate real life with more ease, clarity, and grounding.
Who is this for?
You’re on your healing journey and craving deeper support and connection.
You’ve been doing individual therapy but now want to process, feel, and grow in community with other supportive women.
You’re open to a mind-body-soul approach that honors both science and intuition.
You’re seeking a safe, truly trauma informed and nurturing space where your story is met with compassion.
You’re ready to share space vulnerably and experience the healing that happens when women gather.
You’re a woman or non-binary person in menopause or going through perimenopause (or suspect you are, ages 35+) and want to learn what your body is really trying to tell you.
You’re tired of doing it all alone — you’re ready to heal your independence wound, release the pressure, and finally lean on others safely.
You don’t just want to feel better — you want to truly understand your body.
What you’re going to learn:
You’ll learn how to understand your body better in perimenopause and menopause
the signals, patterns, and physiology behind your symptoms, and how to work with your body instead of fighting it.
You’ll learn how to set boundaries that feel safe and begin to understand how to connect your mind to your body
so your nervous system actually supports the change.
You’ll learn how to ask for help and receive support
without guilt, shutdown, or the “I’ll just handle it myself” reflex.
You’ll learn practical nervous system regulation tools
you can use in real moments of overwhelm, activation, or shutdown.
You’ll learn how to release stored tension through fascia + lymph work
so your body can process emotions, and hormonal shifts more easily.
You’ll learn how to support your liver and gut
to reduce bloating, fatigue, irritability, and inflammation during perimenopause.
You’ll learn how to reconnect with your pelvic floor
to help you understand the changes happening during perimenopause and feel empowered—sexually, emotionally, and in your daily pelvic-floor habits.
You’ll learn how to shift from people-pleasing to self-leadership
using group work, psychodrama, and somatic practice.
You’ll learn how to build deeper, safer relationships
with like-minded people because healing doesn’t happen in isolation.
You’ll learn how to integrate this into daily life, realistically
through 8 weeks of continued support, reflection, and accountability.
Facilitators
Dr. Mary Grimberg PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Mary Grimberg is a pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapist and the owner of ResilientRx, an integrative physical therapy practice in Austin, TX. With over 14 years of clinical experience and her own early transition into perimenopause after overcoming cancer, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, at 33, she brings both professional depth and lived experience to her work.
She is board certified in orthopedics, a former orthopedic residency faculty member, a continuing education instructor for movement professionals, and a mentor to clinicians across every stage of their careers. Her training spans from the Embody Lab (with Gabor Maté, Peter Levine), Stecco Fascial Manipulation, and pelvic floor training through Women’s Health Training Associates, Pelvic Guru Academy and Herman & Wallace.
She brings a trauma-informed lens to all of her clinical care, teaching, and mentorship as she herself has worked through CPTSD.
She helps people navigate perimenopause and menopause by regulating the nervous system and addressing the whole person through a mind-body-soul lens. She teaches that our bodies are always sending messages and that learning to listen and recognize patterns is how we shift the narrative.
Dr. Mary hosts the TMI Talk with Dr. Mary podcast, where she blends science, real talk, and nervous-system–friendly wisdom. Her mission is to reshape the way we understand perimenopause by bridging solid research with empowering, accessible tools that help women recognize their body’s patterns and regain control of their health.
She is also a TEDx Speaker—The Hidden Language of Perimenopause: What Your Body Has Been Trying to Tell You—a talk that breaks down how to decode the signals your body sends during hormonal transitions.
